1938 Illustrated Map of California by Bank of America

20 x 36" chromolithographic map in the illustrated style. Created by an unacknowledged artist for Bank Of America in 1938 in preparation for the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition on Treasure Island on San Francisco Bay. This piece is available framed free of cost, as it's an estate purchase and located in Sonoma . However, shipping is not available framed, only local pick up, but regular shipping is available if wanted unframed. As a master framer I will un-frame the piece myself before shipping. Anyway, this is a really great piece, rarely surviving due to its ephemeral nature. Fine condition and archival framing make this an excellent period piece for a mid century home.
