1933 Sweetheart of the Rodeo by Jo Mora 1st edition

24" x 31.5" color lithograph in fine original condition. Some paper loss at corners, with pin holes from early use. chipped edges visible but not large areas. Very nice "as is" but worthy of minimal conservation for best final results. This is by Jo Mora, a first edition of a most famous and loved piece. Celebrating the rodeo with which he was very familiar and was inspired by in his youth. A favored son of the region , living the bulk of his life in the area. Historically considered highly accurate for his understanding of the nuance of roping, knot tying , lassoing and riding and the difference between styles and their applications. A horseman's graphic used by others over the years from musical groups to Corporate clothiers .
