4" x 6" lithographic view with hand water color in fine condition. Conservation framed for a lifetime of safe use. A view due North towards Telegraph Hill and the burning city around yerba buena cove, from a vantage point of Powell and Sacramento st.'s on Nob Hill. Published in the Annals of San Francisco in 1855 as part of its synopsis of the previous 5 years of change, including the 6 fires within 1849-1851. Beautifully framed and ready to hang. fine condition and expert hand water color make a nice SF offering covering the final major conflagration, fire number 6 since Dec 24th 1849 to effect near total destruction by fire , significantly impacting the design, shape and construction of the future city.
