1854 San Francisco Water Lots Auction Catalog w/ manuscript additions

6" x 9" Auction catalog with 26 printed pages inside a printed cover from Selover & Sinton, Auctioneers , authorized by the California Land Commission to sell water lots in the City of San Francisco , Thursday August 17th, 1854 . Terms of sale on front cover, inside are the cadastral water lot maps necessary to bid on desired lots. Usually a problem,but here seen as a information boom, we have the manuscript additions of a person who attended the auction for the first 21 pages and marked each lots sale price until the lot they wished to purchase came up and they ceased to log the sales prices, a super rare opportunity to gauge the market for these lots in what at the time was a depressed post-gold rush economy. Very good to fine condition with 1" paper loss to cover upper right corner, otherwise well preserved and loved.
