14 x 18 federal folding map, lithograph with hand water colored added, fine condition. An early map covering the US government investment in roads into the Territory of Minnesota, mainly running along earlier trapper routes next to the waterways of the area. Flaws on this are some tanning and crease weakness. Missing paper along left edge from original tipping into its federal publication will be repaired with period appropriate conservation and paper addition before shipping to buyer, upon confirmation of want

These Federal documents have been scanned in their storage bags to show all details while protecting the maps. The crease tanning looks more severe than it is. Creases with splits are noted and not uncommon on these early folding maps . Creases and splits can be repaired upon request , but we leave them until sold.
