1849 Quicksilver Mine Near Santa Clara

4 x 5" lithography from the sketches by JW Revere made in 1846. Essential for the assying of gold, Quicksilver was the term for Mercury . Fine condition , but an acid stain has darkened the center of the image . It's been matted for ease of use, storage and shipping.
