6" x 9" original pen and ink cartoon with original water color, all in the hand of the creator, Isaac Robert Cruikshank in 1809-10 for a private publication released in 1811 . Fine condition, one of 6 purchased at auction some years ago, being exceptional examples of the humor , illustrated style and tone of Cruikshank's work, so often emulated by others for years. A master and progenitor to satirist and critics worldwide.
