An early 18th Century Map copper engraving, made by Cluverius. Scythia is the ancient name of sections of Europe and Asia now covering present-day Ukraine, Russia and Central Asia. The Great Wall of China is shown, together with Tartary, and the region from the Caspian East to China, including Tibet, Mongolia and Asian Russia. Features a decorative cartouche. In fine condition, and has 2 vertical folds as issued. Measures approximately 9 x 12 inches.
