A US Coastal Survey done by the US government in 1851. 22" x 20" in size matted. This is the first chart of the region done by the Americans and a fine federal document relating to Florida. Full sailing instructions and depths relating to the approaches also shown. Names of the 4-5 families living in Key West, 3 churches, salt works, flag staff, and the lighthouse also shown as well. Fine condition with typical tan lines and center crease.
