Miniature Map of San Francisco, 1879
Reprint map, originally Printed by W M. Hinton & Company (Book and Job Printers, 536 Clay street, SF) and copyrighted by Thomas S. Williams in 1879. The map divides the city into Potrero, Hayes Valley and the Mission districts; as well as enumerating many places of interest at that moment in time. It most likely appeared in a city directory or newspaper publication, as it has adverts and various ferry schedules on the back side. The scale of this "miniature map" is rather hilarious, but only adds to it's charm.
20 x 20 " ( 2 1/2 times its original 8" x8" size)
